Wondering how you edit Facebook updates for Facebook posts that have images in them?
It’s that time of the year again! Once again, we are supporting a great cause with our business.
Last week our Internet connection was down for an entire afternoon and it gave me the idea to write this blog post. Just in case this ever happens to you and you start fretting over all the work that you are NOT doing because you cannot be online, check out these ideas, maybe they will help you!
You might have seen this type of stone in some of our photos or elsewhere already. These stone landmarks are called Inuksuk and they can be found everywhere throughout Canada.
In fact, officials in lots of parks have to routinely dismantle the inuksuit built by campers, as they could misdirect hikers from the real markers that indicate the trails. In some provincial parks, notices are issued urging people to “stop the invasion” of Inuksuit.
Enjoy today’s beautiful photo: art on display at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC. It is one of the wonderful pieces of art that you can see there. If you decide to visit, make sure that you also check out other interesting museums in the Smithsonian Institution. Best of all, they are free of charge!
We’ve got lots of share and likes with a very colourful picture that we posted a while ago in Free timeline cover: Fall colours, so today we are offering a photo in a very similar colour theme. The previous photo was of trees in the fall in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and this one is of leaves in the summer, in Varadero, Cuba.
How interesting to see that the same colours can be found in two different climates and seasons. Enjoy!
Today’s photo is from Fort Myers Beach, Florida. I’ve chosen this picture in particular because it’s like all seasons (well, almost) are in it. You have the summer with the white sand and tiny blue umbrellas in the back, the fall with the beautifully coloured vegetation in green, red, and yellow, and the winter, considering the photo was taken end of December.
Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile.~William Cullen Bryant
Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.~Emily Bronte
How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.~John Burroughs
We’ve taken you through winter, spring, summer, and so it’s time for an autumn photo. This one is taken, once again, in beautiful Bruce’s Mill Conservation area in Stoufville, Ontario.
